Reprise sans contour

edge 21 ==> X refus

  1. lavage à grande eau des parties à modifier ;
  2. reprendre la composition très très rapidement aux pastels colorés ;

And now, the google translations. Christina is ill in bed ((:o°

During this Easter weekend, the more I looked at my painting, the less it seemed "right", "authentic". I decided to bounce back on a sentence I had transmitted in my previous article.
I quoted August Strindberg in "Nuits de somnambule": "[...] refusing the drawing that would put nature under the control of reason and imprison its incessant metamorphoses."
What's simpler:
  1. Flushing the parts to be modified;
  2. Resume composition very quickly with colored pastels;
  3. Move chaotically and fix the colors using a brush or laundry fixative.
To refuse the outline is to offer all the possibilities of a new beginning. It is starting from the potentially omnipotent Unknown.
Is not this also the spirit of the Easter message (Jesus is not recognized at first, for his features have changed).
But hey, this blog is not made for quick and botched theological studies.
Thank you for your attention and good week.
